Sales Report
Purpose
Analysis of revenue based on sales invoices using full invoice amounts without considering payments.
Creation of pivot tables and charts across different analytical dimensions.
Features
- Filters: period, my company, counterparty (customer), item, manager, agent, country, and others.
- Groupings: product groups, customers, countries, managers, sales agents, and others.
- Display formats: table, pivot table, charts.
- Indicators: invoice amounts (without considering payments); if enabled in settings — amounts with/without VAT, quantities.
Preconfigured layouts:
- “Sales by Amounts”: a table where rows contain the product group for management accounting purposes (this is an item attribute) and customer, while columns contain year and month.
- The following groups are prepared for use and disabled by default in the settings: Manager, Country, Product Group, Product/Service.
Notes and Limitations
- Only posted invoices for the selected period are included in the report.
- Returns and reversing rectifying invoices reduce sales amounts.
- Payments, advances, and settlements do not affect the report.
- In multicurrency accounting, amounts can be displayed both in the document currency and in euros (depending on the report settings).
Step-by-Step Setup and Execution
- Open Reports > Sales.
- Select one of the available report layouts or create your own.
- Set the period and additional filters (customer, item, manager, etc.).
- Specify groupings and the display format (table, pivot table, chart).
- Click Generate.
Expected result:
You will receive a sales report with indicators based on the selected parameters.
In the preconfigured layout “Sales by Amounts”, the report displays a table broken down by product groups and customers, by months and years.
The report includes only posted invoices; returns and rectifying invoices reduce sales amounts.
